Social Objects – in Time

This story has so moved me considering what happened just when the situation was changed. This little boy got a dog and then received positive attention because of the dog instead of negative attention because of his wheelchair.

I cannot stop thinking about how just rearranging ourselves somehow can change the whole dynamic of how we interact.

It reminds me of Hugh MacLeod’s term social object. And how having a fuck doily social object has opened up conversations with me that I really wanted that would not have happened otherwise.

How might we rearrange ourselves today?
